Grace Adoptions is directed by Edward & Sharon Appler and governed by a board of directors consisting of adoptive parents, adult adoptees, social workers, clergy, and other business professionals.

Edward Appler's social work career has covered a broad spectrum of human services: Community Center Director; Executive Director of Catherine's House, a teen pregnancy intervention program; Executive Director of the Union Rescue Mission, a shelter for the homeless, and Dorcas House for battered women.  During this time he and his wife became involved in doing home studies for adoptive families and then Edward became the Social Services Director for an adoption agency located in
Central Arkansas.  They established Grace Adoptions, a licensed child placement agency in the state of Arkansas, in August of 2000. They and the board of directors have developed some pretty strong convictions about how adoption services should be delivered: Grace Adoptions' values and practice
are guided by biblical principles and the standards contained in the Social Work Code of Ethics. 
Our mission is to provide high quality, professional, faith-based services for the Children, the Birth Parents, the Adoptive Families, and our fellow agencies seeking to give children new lives."

501 (c) (3) organization.  Grace Adoptions is also a member of the Arkansas Adoption Association.
