We are Gordon and Cinde and have been happily married for over 9 years.  Gordon is a native of Hawaii and we met while I was living there and then made a home in San Francisco near to his (then tiny) two children from his previous marriage...we got to see them all the time, and loved the time we spent with them.  When we found out we were pregnant with twins, we decided to move to Arkansas, where I am from originally, in order to be near my mother and father who have anxiously awaited a grandbaby.  For reasons we will never know, we suffered a miscarriage just after our move to Arkansas, and have tried unsuccessfully for the last seven years to conceive again.

We have a wonderful, adventurous and spiritual life to share with a child.  I am a registered nurse with specialties in surgery and psychiatry and Gordon is a land surveyor now pursuing his civil engineering degree.  My father and mother live nearby in Arkansas and we visit them about every other weekend.  My brother is a physician in Boston.  Gordon's extensive family (8 brothers and sisters and countless nieces, nephews, aunties, and uncles) all live in Hawaii where we return yearly to visit. We are all waiting to shower a baby with love and affection, as well as all the opportunities and advantages of the best education, travel, exposure to the arts and other cultures, but most importantly we are waiting to give our hearts full of love as parents to the baby we are blessed with.
